Immunocal on the PDR (Physician's Desk Reference)

It is important to understand that, although Immunocal is not a drug, it can be prescribed by a physician. Immunocal is part of the the Physician’s Desk Reference and classified as a nutraceutical, meaning “a food containing health-giving additives and having medicinal benefit” as defined by Oxford Languages.

As described in the PDR, Immunocal “assists the body in maintaining optimal concentrations of glutathione (GSH) by supplying the precursors required for intracellular glutathione synthesis. It is clinically proven to raise glutathione values”. That’s it! That’s all Immunocal does! Immunocal is a glutathione precursor, therefore, when you take Immunocal you are providing your body with the necessary nutrients in order for your cells to produce the glutathione they much need and love to have. Happy cells happy life!

If you would like to learn more about the benefits of having appropriate levels of glutathione in your cells, I invite you to read the following article by Dr. Mark Hayman, “Glutathione: The Mother of all Antioxidants”.
